How to have more time in this system?

How to escape the system

We live in a society that's not free and we don't have free time. We live in the system. The system that tells you to go to school, get a student loan just to have a debt which you cannot pay, work 9 to 5 to fill the pockets of already rich people and then retire when it no longer needs you. And this society it's ruled by money, some currency with ever increasing inflation with no actual intrinsic value. Money, which has a lot of flaws. Our monetary system based on FIAT is awful. Banks make money out of anything, the money you put in bank are suddenly multiplied and not really yours anymore. This is another matter of fact.

The point is we're not free anymore. We can't take a month off to clear our minds, because we would get fired. We are allowed about 3 weeks of "me time" every year. Oh, yeah, and we have a couple of days off during the weekend when we mostly don't rest because we have to take care of the things we did not have time throughout the week.

We are humans, after all, we want to be free. We want to spend time with friends. We want to have time for our hobbies. We want to be at peace and get some rest....While nowadays, the only way to get a good rest for the average Joe is to die.

We have to live like this. We don't have any choice but to live in this system. Or do we? Are we really bound to the system? Can we do anything about it to have more free time?
Well, I've thought about some options to cope with it, so here they are:

1) Be obedient to the system

Obey the system. Be a good worker, nobody in the eyes of the big players. You do your job, they pay you monthly less then they pay for their lunch and everyone is happy.
Not so. Having little money is difficult. You cannot afford to pay for a lot of comfort and, what is most important, you can't have all the free time you need. You will not get anywhere, just live in your own miserable bubble of lies, watch TV, pay the bills and buy a phone every year, if you can afford it.

2) Climb up the system

Be perseverent. Show the system you care, keep your 9 to 5 office job in a corporation with the possibility to advance your role, have a higher salary and, ultimately, if you are a middle or top manager, take a bit more free time or not have free time at all. You will afford all the comfort you want, buy anything you want, mostly, and be okay with you.

These two things come with good and bad, but you are still trapped. You're still in the system, not having enough time, not spending enough time on what you like, you don't invest in yourself and your passions enough. You'll end up unhappy. Let's explore a couple of ways that give you more liberty.

3) Hack the system

You can hack the system in order to get more free time and get the money which bring you comfort. You can struggle some time 16h/day and become an entrepreneur, an investor or build your passion into a job, like graphic design, music, blogging, vlogging, etc. This will make it easier for you. Give you more time to do what you like and, even make money from it.

4) Escape the system

If you think none of these is for you, there is also the option of escaping the system. Which is the harshest, by far. Why? Well, because you'll have to be 100% sustainable. Have a cabin in the mountains or a house at the country side where you live off your own supplies. Old School or The Tech Way.
Old school meaning having a barn with animals, planting some vegetables, having a source of heat fueled by trees you cut down by yourself, you know, like we did about 10 000 years ago
Or The Tech Way, which is the upgraded version. This means having power from renewable sources like wind and solar, maybe hydro, raising animals in a barn and having a vertical farm to grow vegetables and more plants faster and, of course, a few trees for fruits. Basically like the first time with Internet and a vertical farm and renewable sources of energy. You would still depend on the system for Internet. Either this or you need a private satellite or the Free Internet Project Elon Musk is talking about.
Why is this the harshest? Because you need to make everything by yourself: food, water, heat. And yet, you still need a lot of money to do this.

So what is your plan? Do you want to be obedient? Do you want to climb their ladder? Or do you want to hack the system a bit or escape it to have more free time to focus on what you actually like?
